Caesar & Otto's Summer Camp Massacre starring Felissa Rose will be making its EAST COAST premiere at this year's Long Island Film Festival in Glencove, Friday October 9th at 7:15PM.
Directly following Summer Camp will be the world premiere of it's 10 minute sequel, Caesar and Otto in the House of Dracula. The film picks up directly after the cliffhanger ending of Summer Camp and stars Ed Dennehy, brother of Brian, as Steve Dracula, Dracula's lesser-known younger brother. Shot entirely against green screen, the short film is a black and white throwback to the Universal horror movies of yesterday. You can view the Festival trailer here. The screening will take place at Perspective studios in Glencove. Tickets are $12, but that includes 2 features length films and 2 shorts.

To kick off the summer camping season, we’re opening a new section on the website this month. After a scorching day in the hot summer sun, it’s always nice to kick on the air conditioning and pop in a nice grisly horror movie after dark! Join us in the Camp Horror Spotlight for a look at some other great horror flicks from the Sleepaway Camp era. Camp Webmaster Jeff spotlights the holiday slasher: SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT. Camp Web Designer Tania takes a campy look at some freaky DEMONS. And Camp Contributor Tony shines the spotlight on another camp slasher from the early 80’s: THE BURNING.

Updates on RETURN TO SLEEPAWAY CAMP release:
How many years has it been now? Oh yeah, now I remember. How could I forget with all the reminders from SLEEPAWAY fans? Don't worry, I'm getting all your messages and I agree with you completely - it's time to see this movie released. Well, rumor has it that we're finally looking at release THIS YEAR. Supposedly the scoring has been worked out and a finished movie is on the horizon. But in the words of director Robert Hiltzik, "Don't count your chickens before they hatch!" Robert is still a bit bamboozled with the CGI fiasco and apparently it hasn't yet been exactly worked out to his satisfaction. What exactly does this mean? It means ... Until you get the official word, take everything with a grain of salt. A lot of you have noted conflicting reports. This guy is saying "this" and that guy is saying "that," but we've heard it all before. As many of you know, that is why I stopped updating every time somebody gets a nibble that usually just leads right back to the same ole circle. But I promise you one thing: as soon as I get the official word from Robert, I'll let you all know.

Remember UNDER SURVEILLANCE featuring DESIREE GOULD in her first feature film since SLEEPAWAY CAMP? After a couple scenes were shot last year, the movie is now being released on DVD with a new title: DARK CHAMBER. The DVD will be out on Feb. 26th. You can purchase it online, in store, or Rent it on Netflix or Blockbuster.
